1. Trading and market loss
Digital assets and event or prediction-market positions can be highly volatile and speculative. Prices can change rapidly, liquidity can disappear, and a position can lose some or all of its value. Past performance, rankings, and model outputs do not predict future results.
2. Automated-strategy risk
Enabled strategies can act without further approval for each order. A rule may behave differently than you expect because of configuration, data quality, market conditions, software defects, latency, or interactions between entry, cancellation, and exit logic. Risk controls reduce some risks but cannot eliminate loss. You must monitor active strategies and positions.
3. Execution, liquidity, and pricing
An instruction may be delayed, rejected, partially filled, filled at a worse price, remain open, or never execute. Displayed prices may be stale or unavailable. Thin books, volatility, network congestion, rate limits, maintenance, and provider outages can increase slippage or prevent you from changing or closing a position.
4. Event and resolution risk
Event contracts depend on specific market rules, sources, oracles, and resolution procedures. The plain-language title may not capture every condition. Outcomes may be disputed, delayed, clarified, cancelled, or resolved in a way you did not expect. Review the venue’s complete market rules before trading.
5. Quantum-wallet and custody risk
The quantum wallet is application-managed. You may not control or be able to export its private keys. Access depends on Quant Fun and its wallet, key-management, recovery, and execution infrastructure. Security incidents, provider failures, account compromise, legal process, sanctions controls, or recovery limitations could delay or restrict access to assets.
6. Blockchain, smart-contract, and bridge risk
Blockchains, smart contracts, tokens, stablecoins, and bridges can fail, be exploited, fork, become congested, lose value, or change rules. Transactions may be irreversible. Sending an unsupported asset or using the wrong network or address can result in permanent loss. Stablecoins can lose their peg or become frozen or nonredeemable.
7. Third-party and operational risk
Quant Fun depends on identity providers, data feeds, cloud infrastructure, wallet and key services, blockchain nodes, bridges, and trading venues. An outage, inaccurate response, security incident, policy change, or termination by any provider can interrupt the Service or affect an order, transfer, or position.
8. Legal, regulatory, and geographic risk
Laws and regulatory treatment of digital assets, automated trading, and event contracts vary and can change quickly. Access may be restricted based on location, identity, market, or provider rules. Government or provider action can affect availability, transfers, settlement, or value. You are responsible for determining whether your activity is lawful.
9. No insurance and no advice
Digital assets and market positions are generally not protected by bank-deposit or brokerage insurance. Quant Fun does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice and does not assess whether a strategy or trade is suitable for you. Consult qualified advisers for your circumstances.
10. Risk-capital confirmation
By funding a quantum wallet or enabling live activity, you confirm that you understand these risks, can bear a total loss, and will use only money that is not needed for living expenses, emergencies, debt obligations, or other essential purposes.
